Leading Instructor
The School of Faith is a Christian school of supernatural ministry featuring the Bethel School of Supernatural ministry curriculum. Our mission is Revival: the personal, regional and global expansion of God’s Kingdom through His manifest presence.
SOF’s mission is to EQUIP and DEPLOY Revivalists who passionately pursue worldwide transformation in their God-given spheres of influence.
In our first 3 years we’ve experienced growth, and now we’re looking for a leading instructor to join our team.
If you love living out supernatural ministry, know how to create lessons, and are passionate about seeing others raised up, we’d like to invite you to apply to join our team.
Overview of the Role:
You will be joining us to lead students in their training and deployment. This role is primarily responsible for designing a fortnightly small group class focused on practice and activation. During these classes we create an environment for students to put into practice what they are learning during lectures to gain practical experience in ministering. This will cover spiritual gifts, culture of honour, spiritual disciplines, outreach and similar. We also assist students to apply learned ministry skills to their workplaces or environments of influence.
Overview of the role:
· Planning and leading a 3-hour class according to the School’s weekly class template (This is similar to a church weekly cell-group catch-up, but with a very practical focus. This may include worship, prayer, teaching, training videos, testimonies and activities focused on practicing supernatural ministry – for example, having students share a 2-minute gospel message, prophesying, treasure hunting and similar).
· Sharing/teaching for 20 minutes on a topic that will equip students for ministry
· Having input on the yearly class planner that supports student development
Requirements for the ideal candidate:
· Experience in supernatural ministry
· A broad knowledge of Christian resources to draw on for training
· Administrative ability – for example, developing a run sheet for each week
· Good technology skills and the ability to run Skype/Zoom calls
· Exceptional attention to detail
· Displays a strong work ethic
· Doesn’t require much oversight
· Experience in leading a small group
(Excellent internet access and phone reception is also necessary)
BSSM training or other supernatural/evangelistic ministry training would be considered an asset.
This is a role of 5 hours per week - approximately 2 hours of class preparation and liaising with the school’s teaching team, and 3 hours of class time. Evening classes are online on Monday evenings and alternate fortnightly.
Apply now by sending a personalised cover letter explaining why you are an ideal candidate and outlining relevant experience to info@schooloffaith.com.au by January 28th 2020.
