Values of the Intercessory Prayer Team

You’ll be entering a prayer meeting that may look a little different than what you might be used to. We believe that God speaks both directly to us and to others, so listening to others also allows us to hear God through what He has put on their hearts. Therefore, we value both prayer to God, as well as hearing each others’ hearts to hear God through one another.

We pray in faith, seated with Christ in the Heavenlies. You’ll hear lots of declaring and little begging God to intercede. We believe God has given us all authority in Heaven and on Earth through Jesus, so we practice confidently exercising that authority and releasing God’s will through faith.

We strive to be a praying family. We build relationship by attending prayer meetings regularly and moving in unity. We pause at the first opportune time to welcome new people to the room, and you should expect to be asked what’s on your heart!
